Ailt All Document to Word is a conversion tool that allows you to convert many types of documents into editable MS Word files. The application is able to convert all formats supported by the MS Office suite, plus several image file types, PDF, HMTL, TXT, etc., into *.doc (Word 2003), *.docx (Word 2007-2010), *.docm (Word Macro-enabled documents), and *.rtf.
The application works in a very simple manner, allowing you to add files for conversion in several ways: by browsing your PC, drag and drop, or adding folders with multiple files. You simply add files to the conversion queue and click the convert button.
To the left, the application offers several options to make adjustments to the output document. For PDF to Word conversion, for instance, you have the option of converting a selected page range or page number, and choose the conversion method. In the 'Other Settings' tab you can select the page size of the output file, set margins, or choose a conversion method for PowerPoint to Word.
For the purpose of this review, I used the application to convert a group of images, PDF, and Excel docs into Word 2003 *.doc. The result was quite satisfactory; the converted documents preserved the original layout, with texts, columns, and images in the right place. The only detail to mention is that the trial version stamps a watermark on all the pages.
